Dear Neil and John

Testimonial from an aging jobbing crofter from Little Langdale.

Having had “bad teeth” from the age of 16 I am well used to Dental treatment. I lost a front tooth 5 years ago and had to have a plate fitted which I loathed from day one! I had read about Dental Implants and was rather skeptical, I thought they may not be much good.

So the story unfolds and I ended up in the Chair just wanting the missing tooth replaced to get rid of the awful plate. So, I decided to delegate what happened in my mouth to Neil and John, as I had a sneaking suspicion they knew a bit more than I did.

So there I was Christmas Eve nearly, lying in the chair with a numb mouth (the injections administered as expertly and pain free as I have ever experienced), with these two (attractive the ladies say) young men drilling away, and me thinking why am I doing this? The implant pin was in and all the other root canal work etc was done. ( I must add the drilling is for dramatic effect only!)

I had minor discomfort but did not need any pain killers and secreted the dreaded “plate” to the bottom right hand drawer of my desk.
Christmas Dinner at 2 p.m., which is the correct time for dinner, was a pleasure. I had better speed things up. Several more visits to Crossbank took place, all being more pleasant than the initial one and all as well done, about 10 months in all.

Having had my final visit I did not imagine the final effect would be visually as good as it is. The implanted tooth right from the first hour did not seem to be there, I had to keep checking with my tongue! It is now a couple of weeks since the implant, I am continually showing off my teeth, but the ones closest to me do remember and really do think they look incredible.

The advertisements for Dental Implants go on about having to re-learn to smile properly, but ii isn’t true. I took great pleasure in taking the dental plate out of my desk drawer (there is no disrespect intended to the dentist who made it), and flattening it with a 2.5lb walling hammer!!

It is best to be sitting or perhaps lying down when having read what needs to be done and seeing the cost, but now having seen the work and skill that was required it was worth every penny.

I would recommend Crossbank Dental Care, I think you can trust the professional advice you are given by them whatever the treatment you require, they are not just after your cash!! The treatment you will receive is of the highest order.

Thank you again
Kind regards

Yours sincerely
